Itinerary
Day 1 — Marrakech to Ouzoud
We drive north-east through olive country to Ouzoud, where the Oued el-Abid drops almost 100 metres in stages through the rock, often with a rainbow in the spray. A short boat ride gets you close to the base of the falls, and troops of Barbary macaques are usually about in the trees nearby. We stay the night close by.
Day 2 — Ouzoud to Marrakech
A quieter second look at the falls in the morning light before we drive back to Marrakech, arriving around midday.
