Itinerary
Day 1 — Marrakech to Imlil
We leave the plains behind and climb into the High Atlas, through villages built in stacked stone and mudbrick, with walnut and apple orchards along the valley floor. Imlil, the trailhead for Mount Toubkal, is our base for the night — there's time for a short walk to a waterfall or a neighbouring village before dinner.
Day 2 — Imlil to Marrakech
A morning walk further up the valley, weather and fitness allowing, before we head back down to Marrakech, arriving in the early afternoon.
